There are so many areas of my life that somehow were affected by my year spent in the US between 2006-2007. Personally, I think I have become a lot more self-confident which enables me to take responsibilities more easily. I was also really moved by how Americans do a lot of volunteer work- this is something I try to do myself at home too. I work at the Hungarian Global Outreach Foundation which is something I very much enjoy doing. It's great to see how other students start their journey and grow so much. Besides, I have made some very good friends throughout the years, for which I have to thank the program again.
I'm the happiest aunt of 10 beautiful children- soon to be 11. :) Besides school and work, they are my number one priority.
After graduating from Mindszenty High School, I started my BA studies in Psychology and English. Right now I'm completing my last year of MA studies- my major is Developmental and Clinical Child Psychology. Since last week, I've been working at a clinic, where I work with children that have cancer. This is a very challenging, but also a very inspiring and fulfilling job.
How my spiritual life has changed after the program is a very complex issue. But I think the most important part is that I realized, no matter where I go, what I do, how I decide, or what mistakes I might make, God is always there for me.
