There have been around 15 years already since returning from USA, where I had a excellent opportunity to attend Mercy High School in Omaha, Nebraska. And still I can say that the year with GO community and Mercy experience has certainly influenced my life and personality providing wider outlook than I'd probably had without such an experience - it's priceless for a lifetime. Later I had a chance to spend part of my studies in Finland - University of Tampere also is an excellent place to shape your knowledge, your character, in some way your future as well.
After graduating from Academy of Culture and University of Latvia I have worked mainly in public sector, with the exception of job at Latvian Railways, which was a bit unusual, but very interesting experience for a person with cultural and art history background. Past 7 years have been spent at Ministry of Finance, where my work currently involves international economic and financial issues - together with colleagues we are here to face different challenges.
Apart from work I'm still involved with music and choir, which is absolutely great, but the most important thing in my life is my family.
