The year I spent in the United States changed my life completely. I applied to Global Outreach because the idea of the exchange program sounded interesting to me and because I've always enjoyed getting to know new people. When I was leaving Czech Republic I couldn't imagine what to expect. I spent my year in a little town of Wahoo, Nebraska at Bishop Neumann Catholic High School. It was one of the best, but also hardest year of my life. It gave me not only an important life lesson, but also great memories that I will never forget. Through GO I met a lot of interesting people and some of which I became very close friends with and still remain in close contact.
Now I am finishing my last year of high school here in the Czech Republic. I recently received an English Certificate apart from my high school and am taking examinations for the universities. I am using all of the experiences that this year gave me.
